Session 7 A Week on the Farm: July 24-28 (4th - 7th grade)

Session 7 Available Spaces: 12

Spend a Week on a Working Farm!

Back by popular demand, we are offering two session of "A Week on the Farm". Different from our other camps, the focus is on learning how healthy food is grown and prepared using sustainable agriculture practices. In our hands-on camp, you’ll spend the week planting seeds, picking berries, braiding garlic, making pickles and caring for farm animals, all while learning about the farm-to-table movement!

All activities are on-site at the Humane Society.

Grades 4 – 7

Cost: $300

Registration is restricted to one week of camp per child so that we may serve the many children that want to participate. Due to the nature of our business, with constant exposure to animals and their allergens, our camp programs are not recommended for children/teens with known allergies. Because of staffing restrictions we may not be able to accommodate special individual needs. Additionally staff are not permitted to dispense of or administer medicine to camp participants. This is a recreational camp program. The Sonoma Humane Society is not a licensed child care provider.
