Donate with Confidence

At the Sonoma Humane Society, every dollar is put to work helping animals in need and bringing people and pets together. We’re very proud to report that we have been awarded the Independent Charities Seal of Excellence—
”Best in America”.
This recognition is awarded to members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
At the Sonoma Humane Society, we keep fundraising and administrative costs to a minimum, devoting 81 cents of every dollar directly to the animals in our care.
We are locally founded and locally funded.
Your donations stay local to help animals and people in our community.
