Public Vet Hospital

Here for You. Here for Your Animals.

At the Sonoma Humane Society’s Veterinary Hospital, your four-legged loved ones will be in the expert hands of veterinarians, technicians and nurses who have their well-being as the highest priority. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and providing health-related educational opportunities for our clients.

As the only nonprofit full-service veterinary treatment center in Sonoma County, you and your pet are ensured quality medical care, friendly customer service and an important benefit; knowing that proceeds from your visit directly support homeless animals in need at the Sonoma Humane Society.

The Sonoma Humane Society’s public hospital and Spay/Neuter program are now AAHA Accredited*! We are now part of an elite group of hospitals which go the extra mile.

AAHAlogoDedicated_BW*(Only 12% in the country are AAHA accredited). The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is a non-profit national organization that inspects over 900 items to ensure that accredited hospitals consistently provide the best medical care possible.

The loss of a companion animal can be overwhelming.

We offer both private and communal cremation services for your loved one. Rest assured that you and your cherished companion animal will be treated with the utmost respect and care. We offer on site or in home cremation as well as transport services.

Private Cremation   Ashes are carefully placed in a keepsake redwood urn and safely returned to you. Urn styles and personalization are also available.

Communal Cremation An affordable alternative to private cremations, the communal cremation places your pet with other loved ones and ashes are scattered throughout our gardens.
