Karen was born with the “I love animals” gene. Her interest in animal behavior, especially dogs and horses, led her to study and work with knowledgeable trainers. She is a graduate of the MHS Canine Behavior Academy I and II and continues to increase her knowledge of animal behavior and training by attending seminars, workshops, and classes. She has trained and shown Ibizan Hounds and Arabian horses for many years.
Karen currently teaches a variety of classes, including Companion Dog 1 and 2. She also teaches classes for puppies, small dogs, and scenting classes for the new sport of Nosework. She is dedicated to creating harmony and communication between humans and their animal companions.
