Older Wire Terrier Mix Dogs Need Good Home(s)

In the past few years these sweet pups have seen a lot of loss. First their human Mom (also my mom) died suddenly, then only a year or two later Dad got sick and has been in and out of the hospital. Great friends have been trying to care for them in hopes that his health would improve and he could return to them but time is passing and they are being slightly neglected. They are the sweetest, most gentle, wonderful dogs, getting along with every person, young or old, and animal they meet. They are both spayed/neutered. Bobo (Beauregard Two-Bits) on the left is about 9-10 y/o, male, and has a neurological issue that requires daily anti-seizure medication but is doing well with the medication, no seizures in quite a while.  Gilda (on the right) is female and about 7-8 years old. She has no known health concerns. Please message me if you have any questions, or if you are interested in taking one or both of these sweeties into your home. Thanks for your consideration. SHEPHERD MIX PUPS NEED FOREVER HOME

MEET ROCK AND RIVER One year old female, spayed and healthy, weighing approx. 62 lbs. Shepherd mix (possibly german shepherd x pit bull) Affectionate, loyal, and intelligent, these pups I’m fostering need someone who is experienced in owning and caring for dogs, has 2 hours a day to exercise and engage them, or a large property where they can run around to exert themselves. They are high energy, and would be great as a protector, or herding dog, and need a purpose to engage their sharp minds. Both pups will require more training as they bark and lunge at other dogs on walks. Because they are big dogs, weighing in around 62 lbs. they can be very intimidating to people, and they are still learning how to gracefully interact without getting overexcited or fearful of other people and dogs and come off as aggressive. They haven’t lived with cats, and they do try to chase cats we encounter on walks. They get along really well with other dogs at home, and enjoy playing games, especially keep away. They both would do best living with another dog, within a balanced pack, and with a devoted, engaging person who will not leave them alone for long hours at a time. INTERESTED? I will ask for a small adoption fee to ensure that new owners will give them a stable home. Contact me (text is best) at 707-758-5423 if you’re interested in meeting them. I am looking to adopt them individually, as much as I’d love for them to stay together, they are just a challenge together and I don’t think many people could handle the two of them and progress their...

Little Black

Little Black

Blackie and her two sisters were abandoned in our neighborhood back in July 2016. I took them to the vet to make sure they were okay and get an idea of age — they were about 3 weeks old. My intention was to raise the kittens until they were old enough to get spayed and find them homes. We decided to keep Blackie and found a loving home for her two sisters. Well, it’s been a little over a year and our 9 year old male cat JayJay still has not gotten used to Blackie. I was hoping it was a phase and he’d get use to his new sister, but his mood keeps to be getting worse with time. JayJay has gone from being a friendly fun loving cat to a growling hissing machine whenever Blackie comes around.  This absolutely breaks my heart for everyone involved but Blackie couldn’t seem to care less about JayJay’s dismay, all she want to do is sit by his side which aggravates him even more. She’s a very sweet and tiny little thing coming in at 8 pounds. Blackie had medium long silky hair, is spayed, litter trained, takes direction well and can live with other cats and dogs. She is both independent and  thoroughly enjoys human company. She has brought a ton of joy to my husband and I but unfortunately her presence is having a negative impact on our other cat-child. We don’t want to give her away but after a ton of discussion with friends, family  and her veterinarian we have come to terms with fining her a new home where she is loved by all. The photo I submitted is her hanging out with me while I work in my studio. You can find more pictures of  Blackie here https://ava611.wixsite.com/mysite . Contact:  avaaustin@me.com...
