lost cat – SW Petaluma

Our short/medium hair light orange tabby was accidentally left outside while we were on vacation from 3/19 to 3/22 and was nowhere around when we returned home the afternoon of 3/22. His name is Lewis, is about two years old and did not have a collar. He does have a microchip implanted. Lewis is very friendly. Our home is near the Petaluma Golf and Country Club in Southwest Petaluma. Photo is from when Lewis was bit younger and smaller. 707 934-5352

Two loving small dogs looking for a home

Geek and Apollo are both neutered 6 year old boys. Both are microchipped, current on rabies and dhpp vaccinations, and are on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. They are both kennel trained and house trained. Geek is a black and white chihuahua who loves to cuddle. He does well with cats and dogs. He is fine with children 10 and up. Apollo is a wire-haired terrier mix. He is very active and loves to go for daily runs. He will cuddle as well. He does ok with dog savvy cats but will chase them if they run. He prefers not to share his human with other dogs but does like to socialize with other dogs his size. He loves children but due to his terrier exuberance small children are not...

Sheldon’s still looking for a home

Sheldon’s still looking for a home

A recent transplant from the midwest, Sheldon is a pit mix around 6-7 years young and weighs in at about 65lbs. His goofy grin, sweet cuddles and amazing ability to find a way to lay next to you makes him one amazing companion. He loves retrieving things for you around the house and out in the yard. And is always looking for a treat for his efforts. He loves meeting new people and quickly becomes their best friend and instant couch mate after only a couple of minutes. He currently has a brother that he gets along with really well but he can be reactionary towards other animals. He’s currently in training to get this resolved and if you are his new forever home, I’ll pay to complete the training 🙂 He also knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, off and leave it. He needs to find a new home as soon as possible and is all up-to-date on his shots and has a clean bill of health. Sheldon can’t wait to meet his new family. You can reach him by email but he just forwards all those to me so you might as well just send them directly to me at mhtrang32@gmail.com. Please reference you found me on Sonoma Humane Society in your email. I have to move in 20 days so please contact me as soon as possible to meet Sheldon. He’s saving extra cuddles for you. Persian Cat needs new home

Persian Cat needs new home

This is Diesel. She (we were told she was a boy initially, but the name stuck) is a pure bred Persian cat, she will be 10 years old this October, born in 2007. She is in need of a new home who can better suit her needs than my extremely busy household of kiddos, outings, and not enough time to give her the love and care she needs. Diesel was born in Montana and spent her first two years there. She moved home with me to Sonoma County and was declawed at this time. She had always been an indoor/outdoor cat without a litter box until September 2014. At that time, she was bit by a dog, we believe, and ended up losing her back right leg. By Spring 2015 she could run and up down the stairs again and was getting her spunk back. Since then she has been an indoor cat and had to re-learn to use the litter box (she would use it in the freezing winters while in MT). Diesel needs a home where she would receive a lot of attention, someone who could regularly have her groomed. I would get her a lion cut 1-2x/yr. She is a super sweet cat that if you cradle her like a baby she’ll use her paw to get your face close enough to give you kisses on your nose. She’ll sleep next to you for hours. She is very mellow and loves to lay on our balcony and sun...
