Kitty Girls Need a New Home

Kitty Girls Need a New Home

My beloved cats, Leah (Lay-uh), Jeana (Jay-nuh), and Princess Dog are in need of new homes. Princess Dog is a female 9 year old long haired calico. She lives mainly outdoors, and can be timid at first, but is a love once she gets to know you and so long as there is food for her to enjoy. She would do best in a quiet home. Leah and Jeana, both 7 year old cats, have been together since they were three month old kittens. Both are natural born snugglers and love people of all ages! Due to their lifelong bond, it is preferred that these girls remain sisters in their new home. Leah is a short haired black indoor/outdoor cat. She loves to eat and lounge  in warm spaces, such as near a heater, in your lap, on the couch, and in bed. Do not be surprised if this little love bug starts making biscuits while she’s all cuddled up with you. Jeana is a short haired tabby, and is indoor/outdoor just like her best kitty friend, though perhaps a bit more outdoor. This sweetie loves to purr and show affection towards her people. She may even perch on your shoulder while she shows you just how much she loves you.  Contact:...

Female chihuahua mix terrier 8 years old.

I’m rehoming a Female chihuahua mix terrier 8 years old white and brown.  She has been spayed and has gotten a rabies shot this year plus she has a microchip. She will become attach to one or two people and then resource guard them very aggressive again other people and dogs.  She will bite the other people and dogs to resource guard her food and person she is attached too. I can no longer care for the dog since I now have a young child and walking her safety with the young child is impossible.  I live in a condo and do not have a private yard to walk the dog in. Ideally the dog would do ok with a single person or couple with a private backyard to walk the dog in.  Contact: Donaldpherman@hotmail.com  ...

Rockie is looking for a furever home!

Rockie is looking for a furever home!

My name is Rockie, I am a 1 year old male Labrador. I am neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations with no health issues. I am filled with energy and love. I love to run around outside, protect and play with my family, go for walks and get belly rubs. I never have accidents in the house but my house manners could use some more training. My current family has a 4 year old that I’ve been brothers with since they brought me home at 8 weeks old that loves to wrestle with me, run around the yard with me and give me lots of treats. I live in a care home with my family with four adult men with special needs that I love to lick and fetch my toys for. I  tend to get so excited to see people that I can get carried away and bark at them and jump on them. After turning 1 year old, I also tend to get anxious around strangers and it takes me a few minutes to warm up. My mom and I went through the dog training at PetSmart starting when I was a puppy with the puppy classes and then the intermediate classes but, I could use some more training because I am not perfect but, I do know how to love my family unconditionally. Unfortunately, my family is moving and the new place wouldn’t fulfill my needs as a large breed dog and even though it breaks my family’s heart, they want me to have the best life possible. I’m looking for a new home with a big yard and owners that will give me all the time, love and cuddles in the world. Please contact my mom, Jessica, with any questions or interest in me. Text is best. (707)...

Happy Go-Lucky 11 Month Old Husky/Collie ISO New Family in Sonoma County With Room to Play

Happy Go-Lucky 11 Month Old Husky/Collie ISO New Family in Sonoma County With Room to Play

Hi, Our 11-month old Husky/Collie mix named Chase is in need of a new family with more time/attention and space to play than we have. My wife and I have had Chase for about five months and our schedule changes have made it unfair to him and selfish of us to attempt to not find him a better home with space. Our home in American Canyon has a reasonably sizeable yard and a dog park within close walking distance but he needs new owners who likely have more time for attention and space such as a farm or ranch, own dogs, and experience with the Husky/Collie puppy energy or the like. Being that he is a working dog, definitely, a farm or ranch would be ideal for both new owners and Chase. There just aren’t that many here as there are in SoC. He absolutely loves camping and swimming too. We even have brought him out on paddle boards. He is neutered, crate trained, about 4o lbs (not likely to get too much bigger, if at all) and follows commands, hand gestures and knows “treat”, “walk” and “park” for sure. Chase loves other dogs, big and small. He loves cats, but they don’t much like his pursuit instincts. He is relatively well behaved but very much a puppy and a social dog, which is hard for us after returning home from working and sitting in traffic. We are really hoping we can connect with the right potential owners and home situation for this little guy. Please let us know if you are interested in Chase and we’ll promptly get back to you as soon as we can. I can be reached via email at frankie.frederick1@gmail.com.  ...

RIVER Shepherd Mix Needs Forever Home

RIVER Shepherd Mix Needs Forever Home

LOOKING FOR LOVE? Meet River, 11.5 month old shepherd mix pup. I adopted River along with her sister at approximately 11 weeks old from a friend who fostered them after finding them as strays in Oakland around 9 weeks. I have been fostering them and training them for the past seven months, and River is ready for her loving forever home.River needs someone who is experienced in owning and caring for dogs, has at least 2 hours a day to exercise and engage her, or a large property where they she run around to exert herself. She is medium to high energy, and would be great as a protector, or herding dog, or having a purpose to engage her sharp mind. She gets along really well with other dogs at home, and loves to PLAY! She knows basic obedience, and is still working on socializing with trainers to solve on leash anxiety toward other dogs, which is not true aggression but comes off intensely as she is being taught that there is nothing to fear from dogs who are strangers.MEET RIVER Independent, goofy, and enthusiastic, River is a joy to be around as she delights in infecting all those around her with her excitement. She has a white stripe on her nose, light brown eyes, white socks on all paws, a light blonde coat and a white marking that streams down from her chin to her belly like a river. A food hound at heart, she will do anything for a treat and takes mealtime very seriously. While she enjoys the presence of people around her, she goes over the moon for her doggy companions, no matter how annoying it can be for the recipients of her adoration and countless licks to the face. She is not well suited as a companion for senior dogs, or pups who are overwhelmed by big energy.INTERESTED? I will ask for a small adoption fee to ensure that her new owners will give them a stable home. Contact me if you’re interested in meeting her. She is very healthy, weighing in around 63 lbs., up to date on all vaccinations, and has an upcoming appointment on October 3rd to be spayed.  Contact:...

SHEPHERD MIX PUPS NEED FOREVER HOME

SHEPHERD MIX PUPS NEED FOREVER HOME

MEET ROCK AND RIVER One year old female, spayed and healthy, weighing approx. 62 lbs. Shepherd mix (possibly german shepherd x pit bull) Affectionate, loyal, and intelligent, these pups I’m fostering need someone who is experienced in owning and caring for dogs, has 2 hours a day to exercise and engage them, or a large property where they can run around to exert themselves. They are high energy, and would be great as a protector, or herding dog, and need a purpose to engage their sharp minds. Both pups will require more training as they bark and lunge at other dogs on walks. Because they are big dogs, weighing in around 62 lbs. they can be very intimidating to people, and they are still learning how to gracefully interact without getting overexcited or fearful of other people and dogs and come off as aggressive. They haven’t lived with cats, and they do try to chase cats we encounter on walks. They get along really well with other dogs at home, and enjoy playing games, especially keep away. They both would do best living with another dog, within a balanced pack, and with a devoted, engaging person who will not leave them alone for long hours at a time. INTERESTED? I will ask for a small adoption fee to ensure that new owners will give them a stable home. Contact me (text is best) at 707-758-5423 if you’re interested in meeting them. I am looking to adopt them individually, as much as I’d love for them to stay together, they are just a challenge together and I don’t think many people could handle the two of them and progress their...
